The Johnstons had purchased a home in Freshwater. It was an older property with a lot of appliances and a swimming pool. With energy costs on the rise, they wanted to safeguard future expenses, by installing a solar system.
Project Specifications
Client: The Johnstons
Location: Freshwater, Cairns
Type: Residential Solar System
Project Overview
The clients wanted to reduce their power bills. They also believe in the importance of renewable energy and were keen to embrace the environmental and financial benefits of solar power.
The property had a sound roof for solar installation. The neighbouring property had some tall Indian Mast Trees, which cast shadows on the Johnston’s roof, at various times of the day. We planned panel placement to maximise exposure to the sun and solar power energy production. This project consisted of:
- 25 x Opal Solar 260 watt Multi Modules
- 1 x Fronius Primo 5.0-1 INT 5kVA rated Inverter
- 1 x Fronius Smart Meter 63-1A
- Racking and Mounting
- Installation
Customer Testimonial
Replenishable Energy were so great. We really wanted solar, but on the preliminary investigations we had done, it all seemed so confusing. We didn’t know where to start. The team at Replenishable Energy came and visited the house, looked at our roof and showed us through the on-line reporting system, which made it really easy to follow. The installation was great, seamless. The crew tidied up after themselves. We’re so happy with the end result and our new power bills. Thanks Replenishable Energy. – Julie and Richard Johnston
